  • Snow White

    Adapted by Greg Banks

When the rest of the cast fails to appear, two performers are left to tell the classic tale. Creative staging, music and imagination are woven together to present this innovative storytelling adventure proving that anyone can tell any story.

  • The Antyssey

by Joel Crichton and Richard Lee Hsi
An Environmental Partnership with Concrete Theatre

The Antyssey explores the universal feelings that we all experience at some point in our youth of not fitting in and feeling the need to break away from what we know to discover our true selves. Often at this time we go through a personal journey of mistakes and triumphs to either end up back where we began or to decide to move on in a different direction. The intense time of our youth takes us through the highs and lows of ‘where do I belong?’.

  • Most Imaginary Worlds

Created by the Point of View Ensemble  / Scripted by Col Cseke with development support from Inside Out Theatre and Quest Theatre  / Produced by Inside Out Theatre & Presented by Quest Theatre

A play created by artists with disabilities, inspired by stories of children with disabilities.

Charlotte Bubble feels like the world just doesn’t make any sense to her, “I feel like something is wrong, like the world and me just don’t fit.”  Wishing she could imagine a whole new world made just for her, she visits the Make Believers Maker Space where she discovers stories of hope, gems of hilarity, battles with equality, and triumphs of the human spirit. Will Charlotte’s imagination be the key to holding space for herself, articulating what she needs, and inviting others into her world?

  • Roll for Initiative

    by Kunji Ikeda

A Cloudsway Dance Theatre Production with development support from Quest Theatre

    Presented by Quest Theatre

Set in the fantasy genre of a tabletop role-playing game, Teiji an Orcish Fighter, Udnadkat a Human Cleric, and Fane Farstool an Elven Wizard make up an experienced adventure party. Roll for Initiative delicately unwraps a nuanced conversation of racially based assumptions that our community increasingly longs to understand.

  • Hello Friend...

Presented in mask using movement and music, Hello Friend… illustrates the joy of divergent thinking and celebrates the creative play of one undeterred young kid. Our hero meets three interesting characters but will any of them match our youngster's capacity for imagination? A 15-minute whimsical, hunt for friendship, Hello Friend… brings wonder and delight to all!

  • Snow Angel

Snow Angel is a story about the ripple effect of kindness set in a Canadian community during winter. It is a story told with movement, using masks and music. This story is told without words and is accessible to children of all backgrounds. Snow Angel confirms the benefit of living in a community and how kind acts can have a positive effect on all of us.

An original Quest Theatre Production created by Nikki Loach with artistic contributions by Peter Balkwill and development support provided by Young People’s Theatre, Toronto, Canada.
