Help Us Bring Hello Friend… To Calgary Schools!

In October, Quest is taking our show Hello Friend… on tour to Calgary schools. Presented in mask using movement and music, Hello Friend...illustrates the joy of divergent thinking and celebrates the creative play of one undeterred young kid.  Our hero meets three interesting characters but will any of them match our youngster's capacity for imagination? A short, whimsical, hunt for friendship, Hello Friend... brings wonder and delight to audiences of all ages!

This 15-minute play explores the themes of resiliency, imagination and friendship all through a contact-less delivery. Students can stay in their classrooms and watch through the windows or set up outside in a socially distanced way.

For every $500 raised through Shaw Birdies for Kids or Chip in for Kids, we'll be able to bring Hello Friend to a Calgary school! If you’d like to have Hello Friend...come to your school, join our waitlist here!

Chip in for Kids is a simple way to donate to Quest. Simply text KIDS172 to 30333 to donate $10.

Shaw will match every donation made dollar for dollar – and since donations are made through Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink, they will also be matched up to an additional 50 per cent by the Shaw Charity Classic Foundation.

That means that for every $10 donated, Quest could receive up to $30.

If you would like to donate more than $10, Shaw Birdies for Kids matches each donation up to 50% and can be done online here.

Thank you in advance for your generous donations in bringing theatre to Calgary schools!
