Help Shape the Future of Quest Theatre!
When Quest Theatre was founded by Rick McNair and Duval Lang in 1984, they likely couldn’t imagine how the organization would change over the years… or how things would grind to a halt in 2020 due to a global pandemic!
Quest began doing theatre for the public. We quickly evolved to performing in the schools. We responded to a need for arts specialists in classrooms with our Artists in School Residency Program. Summer Camps became a yearly activity that was housed in a church, to a temple, back to a church and now in an arts hub. We’ve ebbed and flowed in pursuit of ensuring our relevance to young people over the years. Did you know we dabbled in Theatre School, conducted an art show, produced over 49 World Premieres of plays for young people, hired a yearly ensemble for a year, produced Wagonstage at the University of Calgary, and even took a run at National and International touring? We are ready to embrace the next new chapter at Quest.
The recent and ongoing “great pause” in our programming has given Quest Theatre’s Board and staff some time to reflect upon our organization, its history, programming, and where we want to go in the future. We have been working with Mary Blais Consulting and are asking for input until the end of March 13, 2021 through a survey.
This anonymous survey has 4 mandatory questions, and the rest are entirely optional. It will take anywhere from 5-20 minutes depending on how detailed the responses are. Questions can be skipped along the way. We want to hear from anyone and everyone with an interest in Quest Theatre, so please share this opportunity and take part.
